It was daylight savings, so it was necessary to turn the clock an hour forward. We got up late, but slept very well.
In the afternoon, Vincent and I went to the Chastang Dam, about an hour from the CFA. The photos we found of the dam on the internet showed an enormous structure. When we arrived, however, the dam was actually very small. But, we made the most of being there.
I picked up some small stones that were flat and threw them across the water. The goal was to skip each stone as many times as possible.
I managed to make some stones skip up to three or four times. Vincent managed the same. We walked along the edge of the water, there were some stones that were perfectly flat and quite light. We tried to skip them over the water. It was like magic that they skipped 10 times or more !
After a half hour of playing with thèse stones, we started our return back to Tulle. Along the way, we passed a very beautiful and old town. It was Argentat. We stopped there for some time to take a look around.
On the riverside, next to La Dordogne, we read our books in peace and calm. There were not very many people and the weather was good, it was the perfect condition for reading.
