Dogs of Delhi

New Delhi, a place where dogs are left to their own devices. They are malnourished, sick and many are injured. They breed like there’s no tomorrow and their numbers continue to grow. If there’s a dog in the middle of the road, drivers will not stop to avoid a collision. If there’s a dog dying of dehydration, passers-by will not provide even a drop of liquid relief.

The dogs of Delhi are numerous, neglected. I’ve compiled a small collection of photographs of these canines – while rough around the edges, do try and see through to their inner beauty.
