Le professeur d’anglais nous a invités de déjeuner au restaurant, car le menu était très intéressant.
The English teacher invited us to have lunch at the restaurant, as the menu for the day was very interesting.
C’était les étudiants en quatrième année, et la service serait beaucoup plus supérieur que celle nous avons déjà expérimentée. C’était vrai. Il y avait deux serveurs pour notre table, la service était très vite et ils ont répondu à notre questions aisément.
The students were fourth year trainees and the service would be superior to that of our previous expérience with other waiters at the school. It was true. There were two waiters for our table, the service was fast and they responded to our questions with ease.

Le dessert c’était le temps fort de la service. Le serveur a preparé les Bananes flambées devant nous, comme un spectacle privé.
The dessert was the highlight of the service. The waiter prepared the bananas in front of us, like a little private show.

Il épluchait et coupait les bananes avec précision. Puis il les a frites dans la poêle, et il a lancé du rhum au-dessus. Les vapeurs de l’alcool a pris feu du flame nu, soudain il y avait des grands flames. On sentait la chaleur et on a senti un très bon arôme en l’air !
He peeled and sliced the bananas with précision. Then, he fired them in the pan and threw rum over the top. The alcohol vapour caught fire and suddenly there were great flames dancing about. We could feel the heat and smell the amazing aromas in the air.
